The World Task Force Team is deployed in a simulated drop on the slopes of Heart Break ridge. There they must establish and secure a foothold on a position.<br />

A Skyline Nation Army Mountain Division (WOLVERINES) were on routine patrol when they witnessed the incoming paratroopers. They will encircle and try to eliminate the World Task force from the position before the time expires at 2100 hrs.<br />

WTF is situated first, Skyline Second<br />
Team Deployments 1800<br />
Game 1900-2100 Hrs<br />

Primary Objective-Capture/Defend Fort CheckMate<br />
Secondary Objectives-Capture/Defend WTF agent, seize/sustain the briefcase in which he is in possesion . The briefcase is an operating system for the VSSWD weapon in orbit.  This is a satellite which can destroy multiple targets on the grounds by harnessing the suns solar flares.  It will be effective at 2100 hours to protect the position/zone from further Skyline attack.<br />
<br />
In the word document it mentions no ambush, that means way up where the other team is deployed.  Besides, there is no way one could get uphill to a worthy position fast enough from the WTF deployment. When deployed it will allow your team a good 20 minutes to know your area and plan.  Skyline will attack from above from any direction they choose in the first wave..  The Map is general and intelligence is sketchy at times.  It may not be exact.<img src="images/smilies/cool.gif" style="vertical-align: middle;" border="0" alt="Cool" title="Cool" /><br />
<br />
Following this mission, Team Skyline will rearm first an be sent to a forward position to await the next adventure.<br />
<br />
2100 Hrs Conclusion of mission one<br />
<br />
There will be a recess of one hour between the first mission and the next. In order for things to flow properly, the Skyline Players will be asked to rearm and refit first so that they may be positioned down stream at 2130-2140 Hrs. <br />
<br />
The World Task force will then rearm and refit at 2130 Hrs and report to assigned starting positions by 2150 Hrs to await particlars of the mission at hand.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Just picked up two different helmet cameras, with a potential twist.<br />
<br />
Most cameras will not last more than two hours, yet have the potential for about 9 hours of record time. I've always found an issue with that.<br />
<br />
However, in my search, I came across a camera that could be charged while recording, I suppose intended for dash board cameras.<br />
<br />
I also came across a solar USB charger, for cheap.<br />
<br />
Though I presume the solar charger won't be able to keep up with the camera to create a full memory card of video, it may well delay the death of the battery.<br />
<br />
I picked up an R32 and it's big brother from the site.<br />
Altogether it cost about 250 with the two cameras and the two solar panels.<br />
The r32 name is a coincidence...<br />
<br />
Anyhow, I got two different ones because they have different features.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[The strangest thing happened when I pulled my Skyline 2011 sword from its scabbard today.  This scroll came out with my sword and unfurled at my feet.  It is surely an sacred scroll from one of the native tribes of the Skyline Nation.  I'll give 500 rounds of ammunition to the man that can tell me what the scroll means, and the place it is referring to.  <br />

 If you're new to speedball, or just want to come out and try it, this is a great time to do it. We run a combination of drills and scrimmages. Practice starts at around 6:30. Come down, play some ball, learn some skills. This is one of the best night of the week to come by.<br />

Don't forget to come out on Mondays to practice with the SA Slingers on Skills night and Thursday night for Echo Night, hosted by Canada's top Semi-pro team (Not to mention D1 NPPL series champs).<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Hey my names Steven but I go by red, I'm mostly a milsim player and have loved paintball ever since the first birthday party I attended. I run the t9.1 as my main marker, a pimped out t9 as my fun/ sisters rifle and of course a t8.1 as my side arm. My personal tactic is marksman (sniper) and with my rifled barrel and first strike round I'm deadly accurate at 250-300 feet and I can get out to 500 feet but without much more then the ability to hit a 2 meter squared area. Can't wait to meet everyone from project mayem and get out there.]]></description>

Just thought I would share something that I have observed over the last several years.  I hope this tip will save people time, money and frustration.  The myth of the upgrade is sold to us paintballers constantly.  Make your gun better, and you will be better after all!  People buy barrels, boards, bolts, hammers, mods, triggers, and all manner of stuff for their guns.  It's much more common among the Tippmann crowd, but there are scads of upgrades sold for tourney guns as well.  It is my educated opinion that 94.5% of the time, these upgrades provide nothing more than a minuscule performance difference, other than their performance on your bank account.  The one exception may be a barrel.  There are better barrels than others, but it's nothing compared to the paint you are using, in terms of accuracy, but this is another discussion altogether.  <br />
<br />
I was reminded of this on Saturday, when my son's main gun didn't work, we broke out my trusty Tippmann 98.  I've owned this gun since 2007.  When I first got it, I tricked that sucker out six ways from Sunday.  Cyclone feed, e-trigger, freak kit, and a host of other expensive crap I don't remember right now.  The e-trigger made the paint come out faster, but it also put me at the mercy of the dreaded 9-volt battery.  If you know me, you know this; I'm not a fan of overpainting.  Why spend a small fortune on paint when you don't have to?  And you never have to.  It had literally no effect on my performance as a player, and the upgrades were bad for my wallet, not to mention the extra paint I was buying.  The cyclone made my 98 an occasional paint blender, so that sucked as well.  <br />
<br />
I did the same thing with my mini, but with only one upgrade.  It was stupid.  My mini always worked like a champ.  But there was a new bolt out that offered more accuracy and efficiency.  What I really got was a &#36;40 piece of plastic that had no effect of efficiency and the fps on the chrono became less consistent.  It was crap, and I was a dumb dumb for buying an upgrade for a gun that worked perfectly already.  <br />
<br />
I now have taken every upgrade off of my 98, and run it just like a rental.  In fact I even painted "rental" on it.  I did this to make it more reliable.  When I upgraded it, a quarter of the time it didn't work, and another quarter of the time it didn't work very well.  I was reminded of this on the weekend by a guy at the field that had three upgraded A5's and not one of them was working.  Three guns he has spent more than &#36;2100 combined on (he told everyone that he has at least &#36;750 into each gun, and he said it often) and not one of them was functional enough to use in a game.  All the while here is my 11 year old son Sam with my first paintball gun, and it worked like a champ, and he sent several guys to the deadbox with it.  This is a gun that I would be lucky to get &#36;100 if I sold it.  He said he was glad his other gun didn't work, because the Tippmann is cool, "I shot some guys that had fancy guns, and this isn't a fancy gun" was how he put it.  Well said Sam.  <br />
<br />
This does not pertain to upgrades people buy just to make their gun look cool.  Or to do something fundamentally different, like shoot first strikes or the like.  Looks are personal preference.  I am a function over form guy, but not everyone is.  And to make a gun do something totally new and different is cool.  My point here is that performance "upgrades" typically make your gun less reliable, and the performance gains are blown away by decreased reliability.  And if they make your gun shoot more paint, they really aren't your friend.  Barrels make somewhat of a difference, but paint is much more important, but again this is a discussion for another time.  <br />
<br />
Don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying the manufacturers are bad, I'm just saying they are businesses.  And businesses have to make money.  If I was one of them, I'd be selling upgrades too.  I'm sure there is a lot more money in making upgrades than there is in making guns.  My point is, that if you are looking for performance, it's not something you can put on your gun.  It's something you get by playing more.  So save that money you are thinking about spending on a gun upgrade, and spend it on some paint at the field.  <br />
<br />
Just thought I would share this, so that others can avoid making the same mistakes I did.  Paintball is awesome.  It doesn't have to be expensive, and mad skills will come with time.  <br />

<!-- end: postbit_attachments_attachment -->There has been some modifications to the missions, but for the better to ensure a great time and an assortment of solid fields.  Mission Three is located in the Vodkonov Province which is our second largest Field.  <br />
-ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE A WATCH!!!!-The reason is so you get to the link up point on time at missions end.  The entire field is fenced off so one cannot get lost, however there is no horn that is strong enough to hear it out there(OVER 200 acres), so have a watch to know when to come down.<br />

For this Mission alone, both sides will portray new forces in the storyline. The Skyline and World Task Force have become Rival Hostile Natives in the Vodkonov province. Both tribes have had an ancient hatred for hundreds of years. Both factions have been armed by the Skyline Nation so they may assist in repelling the World Task Force. Both tribes fight for the affection of the Skyline Monarchy. Great prizes await those bring forth the fugitives.<br />

<span style="font-weight: bold;">Situation</span>-Two American Pilots(world task force coalition) were shot down during the night, by a SAM site located in MISSION TWO. They both bailed out sucessfully, however no contact has since been made. They are believed to a have landed in the Vodkonov Province, an area crawling with Native Hostiles.<br />
<br />
The Pilots will be inserted into the game in advance and will be wearing simulated flight gear. Both will be deployed to separate assigned starting positions(30 minute headstart). The Pilots may be injured and will only be armed with a handgun. They have a Radio each, to locate one another in a area crawling with forces looking for them. Celebrity Pilots Steve Austin and Greg Hastings will play our downed American Airmen. One will have two batteries and the other a GPS, when they both meet up, they will have the means to find their assigned extraction point. If one is captured the radio may be used to trick the other pilot into capture as well. They will have codes.<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Primary Pilot Mission</span><span style="text-decoration: underline;">-Evade Capture. Find fellow pilot who landed to the north. Evade the enemy and communicate through provided Radio to link up together. Await orders for extraction point. <br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">RIVAL FORCES PRIMARY OBJECTIVE</span></span>-Capture/Rescue downed pilots and safely bring them to extraction point to claim reward. A pilot can fake an injury and shoot you so be carefull.<br />
<br />
A pilot is captured when he shakes your hand as the first one to capture him, This acknowledges he has been captured by the first player to make contact with him. If his capturing foe is shot during combat, he is free again, Unless grabbed by another. The pilot cannot have his radio taken away or his side arm. He will holster it as a good sport and nothing is lost. The Pilots will have a rubber knife, if this is not removed during capture he can back stab his foe and run away. The Captured pilot will follow whoever captured him as directed so he does not have to be dragged kicking and screaming. If a pilot is shot, he becomes 'more wounded' and will be harderto hike him around.  The Pilots are players/actors/good sport refs.<br />
<br />
IF I SEE AN ENEMY WITH A PILOT&lt; I WILL KILL HIM&lt;IF I HIT A PILOT TOO, THEN HE WILL BE WOUNDED AND 'SLOWER' FOR ME TO MOVE AROUND.  IF I HIT THE ENEMY AND THE PILOT IS TO FAR AWAY TO GRAB&lt; HE CAN RUN AWAY TILL RECAPTURED.  THE PILOTS WILL BE THE JUDGE SO HE CAN SEE IF YOU HAVE BEEN HIT AND WILL DESIGNATE HIS KIDNAPPER WITH A HANDSHAKE EACH TIME HE IS CAPTURED.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Secondary Objectives</span>-Look For Rival Native Gold treasures along spring creek in the forest and steal them. Rival items are Marked with armband colors. An idol, unless stolen, cannot be removed from its setting by it defenders for it was placed on 'sacred' ground that you will defend.  IF I PLAY FOR BLUE, I WILL STEAL A IDOL MARKED WITH RED.   I WILL ALSO DEFEND MY OWN IDOL FROM BEING STOLEN.  THE GENERAL LOCATION OF THE IDOLS CAN BE FOUND ON A LEATHER SCROLL.<br />
<br />
FOR EVERY PILOT CAPTURED/EXTRACTED SUCESSFULLY AT GAMES END, THAT PERSON WILL RECIEVE THREE DRAW TICKETS AT LUNCH.  FOR EVERY GOLDEN STATUE SUCESSFULLY CAPTURED/EXTRACTED THAT PERSON WILL RECIEVE ONE DRAW TICKET AT LUNCH.<br />
<br />
THE DRAW TICKETS WILL BE PUT IN A COWBOY HAT!!! THE QUEEN OF SKYLINE WILL PULL OUT ONE TICKET AT LUNCH.  THE WINNING PERSON WILL RECIEVE AN XBOX 360 GAME CONSOLE AND A GREG HASTINGS 2 PAINTBALL GAME!!!!<br /><!-- start: postbit_attachments_attachment -->

<!-- end: postbit_attachments_attachment -->There has been some modifications to the missions, but for the better to ensure a great time and an assortment of solid fields.  Mission Three is located in the Vodkonov Province which is our second largest Field.  <br />
-ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE A WATCH!!!!-The reason is so you get to the link up point on time at missions end.  The entire field is fenced off so one cannot get lost, however there is no horn that is strong enough to hear it out there(OVER 200 acres), so have a watch to know when to come down.<br />

For this Mission alone, both sides will portray new forces in the storyline. The Skyline and World Task Force have become Rival Hostile Natives in the Vodkonov province. Both tribes have had an ancient hatred for hundreds of years. Both factions have been armed by the Skyline Nation so they may assist in repelling the World Task Force. Both tribes fight for the affection of the Skyline Monarchy. Great prizes await those bring forth the fugitives.<br />

<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Situation</span>-Two American Pilots(world task force coalition) were shot down during the night, by a SAM site located in MISSION TWO. They both bailed out sucessfully, however no contact has since been made. They are believed to a have landed in the Vodkonov Province, an area crawling with Native Hostiles.<br />
<br />
The Pilots will be inserted into the game in advance and will be wearing simulated flight gear. Both will be deployed to separate assigned starting positions(30 minute headstart). The Pilots may be injured and will only be armed with a handgun. They have a Radio each, to locate one another in a area crawling with forces looking for them. Celebrity Pilots Steve Austin and Greg Hastings will play our downed American Airmen. One will have two batteries and the other a GPS, when they both meet up, they will have the means to find their assigned extraction point. If one is captured the radio may be used to trick the other pilot into capture as well. They will have codes.<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Primary Pilot Mission</span><span style="text-decoration: underline;">-Evade Capture. Find fellow pilot who landed to the north. Evade the enemy and communicate through provided Radio to link up together. Await orders for extraction point. <br />

<span style="font-weight: bold;">RIVAL FORCES PRIMARY OBJECTIVE</span></span>-Capture/Rescue downed pilots and safely bring them to extraction point to claim reward. A pilot can fake an injury and shoot you so be carefull.<br />

A pilot is captured when he shakes your hand as the first one to capture him, This acknowledges he has been captured by the first player to make contact with him. If his capturing foe is shot during combat, he is free again, Unless grabbed by another. The pilot cannot have his radio taken away or his side arm. He will holster it as a good sport and nothing is lost. The Pilots will have a rubber knife, if this is not removed during capture he can back stab his foe and run away. The Captured pilot will follow whoever captured him as directed so he does not have to be dragged kicking and screaming. If a pilot is shot, he becomes 'more wounded' and will be harderto hike him around.  The Pilots are players/actors/good sport refs.<br />

IF I SEE AN ENEMY WITH A PILOT&lt; I WILL KILL HIM&lt;IF I HIT A PILOT TOO, THEN HE WILL BE WOUNDED AND 'SLOWER' FOR ME TO MOVE AROUND.  IF I HIT THE ENEMY AND THE PILOT IS TO FAR AWAY TO GRAB&lt; HE CAN RUN AWAY TILL RECAPTURED.  THE PILOTS WILL BE THE JUDGE SO HE CAN SEE IF YOU HAVE BEEN HIT AND WILL DESIGNATE HIS KIDNAPPER WITH A HANDSHAKE EACH TIME HE IS CAPTURED.<br />

<span style="font-weight: bold;">Secondary Objectives</span>-Look For Rival Native Gold treasures along spring creek in the forest and steal them. Rival items are Marked with armband colors. An idol, unless stolen, cannot be removed from its setting by it defenders for it was placed on 'sacred' ground that you will defend.  IF I PLAY FOR BLUE, I WILL STEAL A IDOL MARKED WITH RED.   I WILL ALSO DEFEND MY OWN IDOL FROM BEING STOLEN.  THE GENERAL LOCATION OF THE IDOLS CAN BE FOUND ON A LEATHER SCROLL.<br />
<br />
FOR EVERY PILOT CAPTURED/EXTRACTED SUCESSFULLY AT GAMES END, THAT PERSON WILL RECIEVE THREE DRAW TICKETS AT LUNCH.  FOR EVERY GOLDEN STATUE SUCESSFULLY CAPTURED/EXTRACTED THAT PERSON WILL RECIEVE ONE DRAW TICKET AT LUNCH.<br />

THE DRAW TICKETS WILL BE PUT IN A COWBOY HAT!!! THE QUEEN OF SKYLINE WILL PULL OUT ONE TICKET AT LUNCH.  THE WINNING PERSON WILL RECIEVE AN XBOX 360 GAME CONSOLE AND A GREG HASTINGS 2 PAINTBALL GAME!!!!<br /><!-- start: postbit_attachments_attachment -->
